This service has been developed by us and used for some time for the foreign student company, Gabbitas Educational Consultants Ltd..
From an airport or seaport, our courier will be outside customs, or at a designated meeting point, from the time of arrival of the carrier. They will be holding board with either the name of the passenger or the school, as instructed.
After 50 minutes we will attempt to page the passenger and if no response, contact the appointed authorised person. Ten minutes later the courier will repeat the procedure, and again contact the appointed authorised person to ascertain or advise if any additional information gained.
When arriving at the final destination, the passenger will be handed over to the authorised person and not left to fend for him or herself.
The student is collected in ample time for travelling to the place of destination given prevailing weather conditions.

Air/Sea Ports
The courier will park up and accompany the student to the check-in desk, where they are handed over into the care of the carrier staff. We will normally require details of the persons meeting our students at the other end for "assisted / Accompanied Passage" forms.

Schools
When transporting Students to Schools for interviews etc. we will ensure they are met or handed over only to authorised persons.
At all times the appointed / authorised person is kept informed when collection or delivery of a student takes place.
To ensure that costs can be controlled and are transparent to all concerned we have used Microsoft's AutoRoute™ to plan and cost journeys. Mileage is then charged at a set rate, plus waiting time and any additional costs such as Parking/Tolls.
Airports and Sea Ports are set fares the same as our normal "Carriages" service plus a supplementary charge of £10 to cover the cost of parking and waiting time when handing over the student to the carrier. |
